Baton Rouge

Kalurah St. Grill

“Kalurah St. Grill’s Classic Cheeseburger weighs in at a whopping 6 ounces and is one beast of a burger. The patty is mighty thick, smokey and dripping with cheddar.  Aesthetically, this goes a long way. However, the burger arrives well-done (not medium as I had hoped). The house-made pickles are a nice touch…and the garlic aioli is nice in concept, but both are over-powered by the amount of onion on the burger.”

  Fries

  • Standard-Cut with the Skins
  • Golden Brown
  • Tender Inside and Out
  • Salted and Peppered

I always appreciate when a kitchen is brave enough to season their fries in any capacity, and Kalurah St. Grill did just that. However, the fries were missing a vital component–a crisp outter layer.
