Tru Burger

“Stepping up to the Cheddar Double Tru Burger is a great move for beef buffs. Two full sized patties form a loaf of juicy meat, nearly inundating the bottom of the bun with clear juices. My burgers were spot on medium-rare, per my request. Caramelized sear marks impart a deep flavor. Hardly seasoned, they let the cow make the noise. A rare burger with convincing cheddar cheese, almost oozing out of the sandwich. The vegetables were close to as good as they get. Only mayonnaise festooned this burger, outside of the “Tru” sauce, that the reviewer could not identify with his eyes or his taste-buds.”

  Fries

  • Fresh sliced- julienne style
  • Straw color
  • Nearly unseasoned
  • Good balance between crisp and tender

This reviewer is partial to skinny fries, as  they crisp in one dip in the oil. These potatoes were no exception. Is it too much to ask for a good salting on these things, though?
